For server performance and security reasons, our email policy limits POP/IMAP checks per hour to 30. Once that limit has been reached for any given hour, your account will be unable to check for emails for the rest of that hour.
Our recommendation is to increase the time duration between email checks in your email client(s) to no less than every two minutes. You may need to further increase the duration between checks if you have multiple devices checking for email from the same account at the same time. For example, if you are checking for email from both a laptop and a mobile device, you should check for email no less than every four minutes from each device, etc.
