Receiving Email Seems Delayed

To fight spam, we use a highly-effective email delivery technique called "Greylisting."  This process of rejecting email from a new sender and waiting for valid senders to resend the email can delay an email's delivery by more than 10 minutes.  Once a valid email has been received, the recipient will be whitelisted for the next few days to help expedite any additional email from that sender.

You can disable Greylisting for your domain by using the "Configure Greylisting" utility in your cPanel account.  Set it to OFF to disable this functionality, but you may experience more spam in doing so.

You can also temporarily disable Greylisting if you are expecting an important email.
